At SOCH, we deeply value the vital role that parents play in shaping their children’s educational journey. We believe that a strong partnership between educators and families creates the best foundation for a child’s growth and development.

Our teachers actively engage with parents through ongoing pedagogical conversations, regularly sharing insights into each child’s progress, achievements, and next steps. This collaborative approach ensures that learning is not confined to the classroom but is seamlessly extended into the home environment. We want you to feel confident and supported in engaging with your child’s learning journey through play and meaningful interactions.

Building strong, trusting relationships with parents, carers, and families is at the heart of our ethos. We recognize that these connections are essential for a child’s well-being and development. That’s why, when a child first joins SOCH, we provide a dedicated ‘settling-in period’—a gentle transition designed to help them adjust to their new environment while giving us the opportunity to get to know both the child and their family.

Once your child has settled, their key person will provide regular updates at drop-off and pick-up, ensuring you are always informed about their daily experiences and progress. In addition, we schedule more formal updates every few months to discuss milestones, strengths, and areas for further development.

By fostering strong relationships between home and nursery, we create a nurturing learning experience that extends beyond the classroom, supporting each child’s development in a holistic and meaningful way. Together, we can inspire a lifelong love for learning.
